The Salutation Inn is a traditional Lakeland Bar with a fine range of traditional cask ales, wines, spirits and soft drinks to suit everyone. Popular with the "locals", we try to have three real ales on at any one time including at least one guest ale per week. The "house" ales are Jennings Cumberland Ale and Theakstons Best Bitter. We also offer San Miguel, Foster, John Smiths, Theakstons Mild, Youngers Scotch Bitter, Strongbow Cider, & 1664 on draught. We have an extensive wine list if beer is not your thing, with a selection of fine wines from around the world and an excellent selection of spirits and soft drinks.

We serve an excellent Food Menu seven days a week, including all day at weekends. Something for your taste buds to savour!

On sunny days, why not relax with a quiet pint on our superb decked south facing beer garden at the rear of the inn, with mountain views in all directions. As well as tables and chairs, there are also patio heaters for those slightly chilly evenings. Or why not play a game of pool or darts with friends in our spacious games room?
